Things I Keep Coming Back To

(coming soon)

Over the years, I've realised it's rarely the big changes that transform a life.

More often, it's the quiet, ordinary rituals we return to every day.

A warm coffee before the house wakes up.

A favourite moisturiser pressed gently into tired skin.

A notebook waiting on the kitchen table.

A candle lit at the end of a long day.

None of these things are essential.

You don't need to buy anything to come back to yourself.

But I've found that surrounding myself with a few things I genuinely love has made ordinary moments feel slower, calmer and more intentional.

These are the things that have earned a place in my life.

Morning Rituals

The small things that help me begin the day before the world starts asking anything of me.

Nespresso Coffee Machine

Every morning begins here.

Making my coffee has become less about the coffee itself and more about the ritual. It's a few quiet minutes where nothing is being asked of me yet, and over time those moments have become surprisingly important.

My Favourite Mug

There is something about drinking from a mug you genuinely love that makes you slow down without even noticing.

It's a tiny detail.

But tiny details quietly shape our days.

Notebook for Morning Pages

I don't journal perfectly.

Most mornings I simply empty whatever is in my head onto paper.

Ideas.

Thoughts.

Worries.

Things I don't want to carry around all day.

This notebook has become part of that ritual.

My Favourite Pen

Writing should feel enjoyable.

A good pen sounds insignificant until you find one that makes you want to keep writing.

This one has earned its place.

Everyday Beauty

Not about looking younger.

About caring for myself a little more gently.

Laneige Water Bank Moisturiser

As my skin changed during perimenopause, I realised it wasn't asking for more products.

It was asking for different ones.

This has become one of the moisturisers I keep coming back to because it feels deeply hydrating without feeling heavy.

My Favourite Face Oil

The biggest change in my skincare routine wasn't adding more steps.

It was slowing down enough to enjoy one simple ritual.

Pressing a face oil into my skin each evening has become less about skincare and more about ending the day with kindness.

Creating Calm at Home

The atmosphere around us shapes how we feel far more than we often realise.

These are the little things that help my home feel calm.

Diffuser

This is one of the easiest ways I shift the feeling of a room.

Whenever I turn it on, it's a quiet signal that the day is slowing down.

Books That Changed How I See My Life

Some books entertain us.

Others quietly change us.

These are the ones I return to again and again.

The Artist's Way β€” Julia Cameron

This book introduced me to Morning Pages, a practice that helped me hear my own thoughts again.

If you've ever wanted to reconnect with your creativity, I can't recommend it enough.

A beautiful reminder that difficult seasons aren't interruptions to life.

They are part of it.

Gentle Wellbeing

The little things that make everyday life feel just a little easier.

Water Bottle

It sounds simple.

But when life feels overwhelming, drinking enough water is often one of the first habits to disappear.

Having a bottle I genuinely like means I'm much more likely to use it.

Eye Mask

Perfect for afternoons when I need ten quiet minutes, travelling, or simply creating a little darkness in a busy world.

Writing & Reflection

Writing has become one of the ways I come back to myself.

These are the tools I use most often.

Blooming Back To Me Prompt Journal

I created this journal for women who want to reconnect with themselves one small reflection at a time.

Fifty-two weeks.

One thoughtful prompt each week.

No pressure.

No perfection.

Just space to hear yourself again.

Weekly Planner

I don't use planners to become more productive.

I use them to create more mental space.

When everything is written down, my mind finally gets to rest.

A Small Note

None of these things are essential.

You don't need a beautiful mug, a face oil or a particular notebook to create a meaningful life.

They're simply things that have quietly earned a place in mine.

Because over time I've realised that the atmosphere we create around ourselves influences the atmosphere we carry within ourselves.

These aren't really recommendations.

They're small companions to a slower, more intentional way of living.

If something here makes your ordinary days feel a little calmer, a little softer, or a little more like your own, then I'm so glad.

Love,

Olga
